Chapter 4 Walkthrough: Inner Nature

Inner Nature leaves the kitchen and garage behind and brings the outdoors inside: leaves, pebbles, crystals, shells and even a spider’s web. The fourth chapter covers Levels 53 to 67 and relies heavily on mirror images, so the usual “sort them in a row” instinct helps less here. Below is every puzzle explained, with all extra stars and the hidden achievement of the chapter.

A routine for mirror puzzles

In Levels 59, 62 and 65 the game accepts any layout that mirrors itself along the vertical middle. Because no single picture is expected, it is easy to keep shuffling forever. A fixed routine stops that:

  1. Find the twins. Put matching items side by side outside the scene. Pieces that end up alone will go on the middle line.
  2. Lay the spine. Place every single piece along the imaginary vertical axis, the biggest one roughly in the centre.
  3. Add pairs outwards. Whatever you put on the left, copy on the right at the same height and distance from the middle.
  4. Flip the direction. A twin on the right should point the opposite way to its partner on the left.

Levels 55 and 60 reverse the process: instead of adding pieces you take them away. Look across the stem, and only remove growth that has nothing facing it on the other side.

Puzzles 53 to 60

Level 53: Shattered Vase

The cat has pushed a vase to the floor and its fragments wait at the bottom of the screen. The foot and the lip are easy to recognise thanks to their curves, so fix those first and fill the body of the vase in between.

Level 54: The Cat’s Trail

One level, three scenes. In the first, mop up the coffee and every muddy print, lifting the rug and shifting the papers because more prints hide beneath them. In the second, prints are hidden under fallen foliage, and the broken leaves must be thrown out past the edge of the screen. In the third, the cat strolls across and leaves fresh prints that you clean as they appear. The hidden achievement needs the coffee and the broken leaves gone, so leave nothing behind.

Level 55: Uneven House Plant

Pull leaves off until the plant mirrors itself around the stem. Go from the top downwards and look straight across for each leaf. The usual mistake is overplucking: a leaf that has a partner opposite should stay, even if it is a little bigger or smaller.

Level 56: Fallen Leaves 3 solutions

  • Star one: a smooth change of shade along the row.
  • Star two: order by how jagged the edges are, from the most teeth to the fewest.
  • Star three: slide the leaves so the holes eaten into them form one straight horizontal line.

Level 57: Row of Plant Pots

Order the pots so that the foliage of each plant tucks into the gaps of the plant beside it. A plant leaning to one side needs a neighbour with space on the matching side.

Level 58: Crystals 3 solutions

  • Star one: arrange the crystals by shade.
  • Star two: count the flat faces on each one and go from the fewest to the most.
  • Star three: push them together so the pointed end of one crystal fits into the notched end of the next.

Level 59: Garden Stones

A free mirror puzzle. Apply the routine above and the arrangement registers as soon as both halves agree.

Level 60: Small Tree

This time the leaves come off with clippers, but the idea is identical to Level 55. Check each branch against its opposite and cut only the leaves without a counterpart.

Puzzles 61 to 67

Level 61: Collector’s Box

Each natural object needs a compartment that suits it. Several layouts are accepted, so pick one clear principle, for example the size or outline of the object, and apply it to all compartments rather than searching for one perfect picture.

Level 62: Dried Flowers

Another free mirror puzzle. Stems with one large bloom tend to belong on the central axis, while the smaller sprigs come in pairs.

Level 63: Painted Pebbles 2 solutions

  • Star one: create a smooth blend of colours with the four single-colour pebbles in the corners.
  • Star two: keep the blend, but move the single-colour pebbles to the centre of each edge, top, bottom, left and right.

Every two-colour pebble mixes the two pure colours closest to it, which pins down its position precisely.

Level 64: Crystal Pieces

Put the fragments back together into one complete stone. The angles of the cut faces tell you which pieces belong together, and fragments with a straight outer side make up the outline.

Level 65: Shells and Pebbles

The last free mirror puzzle in the chapter, and the biggest. With this many pieces, pairing them up off to the side before you build saves a lot of time.

Level 66: Three Snowflakes

A new control appears: pulling the outer ring makes the pattern bigger or smaller. Match it to the pieces in three steps: get the size roughly right, move it into place, then refine the size. Repeat for each of the three snowflakes.

Level 67: A Web with Flies

Some flies are already stuck in the web. Each free fly goes exactly across the centre from the stuck fly of the same colour. The golden fly takes the very middle.

Chapter 4 achievements

Achievement Trigger Level
Inner Nature Reach the end of the chapter 67
One With Nature Earn every star in the chapter 56, 58, 63
Path of Destruction Remove the coffee and the broken leaves too 54

Snowflakes not scaling? The size only changes when you grab the outer rim. Grabbing anywhere inside it just moves the pattern around.

The last chapter swaps nature for clocks, candles and the night sky; see our Chapter 5 guide. Stars missing from the previous chapter? Chapter 3 lists them all.
