Part 2 of our Seeing Stars walkthrough covers Levels 12 to 24, a stretch of 34 stars that includes the expansion’s trickiest sorting puzzles: food containers with five solutions, cacti and pots, moths on a jumper and a box of miniatures that hides an achievement. Each level below lists all solutions and the details that make them register.

Levels 12–18

Level 12: Food Containers 5 solutions

  • Fullness: three stacks for full, half-full and nearly empty containers.
  • Lid colour: stack so the lids follow rainbow order from blue through green, yellow and orange to red.
  • Contents: the mouldy one alone, then fruit, pasta and soup, with all the vegetables together in the last stack.
  • Labels: group the labels with angled ends, bumpy ends and double layers.
  • Lid tabs: single tab, two bumps and three bumps in separate stacks, with the tab position moving from left to right inside each stack.

If one of the five stars refuses to appear after a correct arrangement, restart the level and build that solution from scratch; leftover containers from a previous attempt are the usual reason it does not register.

Level 13: Sash Windows

Each window pane shows part of a pattern. Raise the left window from the top once, raise the middle one from the bottom once and push the right one up from the bottom twice. The same motif then runs in a straight line down the middle.

Level 14: Cacti and Pots 5 solutions

  • Height match: tallest cactus in the tallest pot, in order.
  • Even skyline: tallest cactus in the shortest pot so all plants end at the same height.
  • Flowers: match the number of flowers on the cactus to the flowers painted on the pot.
  • Segments: match the number of cactus arms to the number of facets on the pot.
  • Roots: lift each cactus to see its roots and match root length to the height of the pot’s foot.

Level 15: Origami Board

Fit the paper animals around the cuts in the board. The large green shark takes the centre, the yellow dragon the lower right corner, a white animal the upper right and a red bird the bottom right edge. The smaller animals fill the remaining slots.

Level 16: Moths on a Jumper 4 solutions

  • Stitch count: order the moths by the number of stitch-like marks on their wings.
  • Holes: put each moth over the hole in the wool that matches the pattern on its back.
  • Wing flaps: pick up each moth, count how often it flaps and arrange them around the circle by that number.
  • Body stripes: while a moth is held you can see its body; order them by the number of stripes.

Level 17: Drawing Instruments 2 solutions

  • The case: stack every tool neatly inside its case.
  • The drafting board: place every tool on its red outline on the board.

Click the red parts of the compass and the arched protractor to open them; the second solution only works with both extended.

Level 18: Ink Bottles 2 solutions

  • Drips: reorder and rotate the bottles so the ink drips continue down the stacks.
  • Labels: rotate them so the labels join into one image across each row.

Pick bottles up by the lid to change their order. Rotating the bottom bottle turns the whole column, so fix the bottom row first. The label solution is very precise and often needs a few tiny adjustments.

Levels 19–24

Level 19: Five Drawers

Every drawer handle is made of a different material: metal, wood, glass, shell and plastic. Put each object in the drawer whose handle matches its material. If you are unsure, pick an object up and drop it; the sound tells you what it is made of.

Level 20: Curtains

Slide the curtain panels so the printed pattern continues across all four. Start on the right and work left.

Level 21: Stacked Books 5 solutions

  • Bookmarks: three piles for ribbons on the left, middle and right.
  • Cover swirls: one pile per swirl pattern.
  • Spine bumps: match the bump spacing to the three large books at the bottom.
  • Fullness: one pile for full pictures such as a whole pizza and full moon, one for half-full images and one for empty things such as a banana peel and an empty plate.
  • One tower: stack every book in one pile so that only the black covers are visible, largest to smallest.

Level 22: Craft Drawer

Glue on the left, the glue gun and tape in the middle and the stickers and stamps on the right. Spin the lint roller to find the stickers stuck to it, and pull other stray stickers off random objects. The sun sticker belongs on the glue bottle rather than on the sheet. Before finishing, stick all four blobs of gum on the lollipop for Sticky Wand.

Level 23: Handbells 3 solutions

  • Handles: one shelf each for round, long and figurine handles, ordered by height.
  • Bell waist: one shelf each for dome-shaped, curved and sharply angled bells, ordered by the bell height alone.
  • Printed shape: one shelf each for circle, square and diamond prints, ordered by the size of the shape.

Level 24: Miniature Figures 3 solutions

  • Colour: one colour per compartment.
  • Pattern: fit every figure into the outlined spots of the centre compartment.
  • Type: wizards, animals, cowboys, archers, imps, flag bearers and sword bearers each get their own compartment.

Sorting by where the figures are looking unlocks Whatcha Lookin’ At?: left-facing figures in the bottom left box, forward-facing in the middle and right-facing on the right. Go by the direction of the face, not the body or what they carry.
