Chapter 2 Walkthrough: The Lost Recipe
Chapter 2, The Lost Recipe, moves the tidying into the kitchen and runs from Level 21 to Level 36. The puzzles introduce rotating objects, colour gradients and the first level where the cat deliberately ruins your work. This walkthrough explains every level, lists all alternate solutions and points out the achievements hidden in the chapter.

Levels 21–28
Level 21: Tomato Soup Cans 2 solutions
- Solution 1: spin every can until the tomato faces you.
- Solution 2: spin them so the cans together show one complete label running across the row.
Level 22: Jars of Liquid 3 solutions
- Solution 1: arrange a colour gradient from yellow to green.
- Solution 2: order the jars by their own height, tallest to shortest.
- Solution 3: order them by how full they are, fullest to emptiest.
Solutions 2 and 3 look similar but are different: a tall jar can hold very little liquid. Compare liquid lines, not glass.
Level 23: Spoons 2 solutions
- Solution 1: nest the spoons in one stack with the largest at the bottom and the smallest on top.
- Solution 2: lay them side by side from largest to smallest.
Level 24: White Bowls 2 solutions
- Solution 1: rotate the bowls so their painted pattern lines up into one design.
- Solution 2: rotate them so the cracks continue from bowl to bowl.
Level 25: Two Rows of Jars 2 solutions
- Solution 1: sort both rows into colour gradients.
- Solution 2: line up the slanted contents so the slopes form one continuous line across each row.
The colours of the jars can change between attempts, but the slopes do not. For the second solution, ignore colour completely and follow the angle of the contents.
Level 26: Egg Carton
Make a checkerboard of brown and white eggs. The quickest route is to move only two eggs; doing exactly that unlocks Exacting Eggs. Study the carton before you touch anything, because every extra move rules the achievement out for that attempt.
Level 27: Bread Ties
Slide the plastic bread clips together so their notched edges interlock like jigsaw pieces along both sides. Drag the crumbs off the edge of the screen for a clean finish.
Level 28: Fruit Stickers 2 solutions
- Solution 1: spin each fruit and peel off every sticker, including the ones on the back.
- Solution 2: remove only the blue stickers, then put the green sticker on the pear, the orange sticker on the orange and the red sticker on the apple.
Levels 29–36
Level 29: Pasta Shapes
Order the pasta from the straightest piece to the curliest. If two pieces look equally bent, count the twists rather than judging the overall shape.
Level 30: Drinking Glasses
Each glass has a print on the front and the same print, fainter, on the back. Spin the glasses until the two copies overlap. From left to right the images are a small bird, a large bird and a fisherman.
Level 31: Table Setting
Set the plate, cutlery and glass the way a formal place setting looks. The cat knocks things around once you finish; rebuild the setting, then watch for the paw and click it before it reaches the table to earn Keep Away.
Level 32: Breakfast Plate
Arrange the food so the plate is mirror-symmetrical. Pieces without a twin, such as the egg, go on the centre line. Paired items, such as the bread slices, mirror each other on both sides.
Level 33: Can Pyramid
Rearrange the stacked cans so every column contains one colour only. Free up an empty spot first so you have room to shuffle cans around.
Level 34: Postcards
Line up the postcards so the river runs from one card into the next and the sky continues across the top. The lighthouse and the hot-air balloon cards share a sky edge, which helps you anchor the middle of the row.
Level 35: Pantry Shelf
Boxes, jars and cartons sit in a row, and the shapes on their labels continue onto the neighbouring item. Find the item whose label has a shape on only one side, put it at an end and build outwards.
Level 36: Fridge Polaroids
The photos tell a short story about the cat causing trouble. Arrange them in the order the events happen, from the calm first picture to the final mess. Read the cat’s position in each frame to work out what happened just before.

Kitchen done. Next up is the garage and bathroom in Chapter 3: Nitty Gritty. If a level still refuses to complete, our 12 rules for solving any puzzle explain the logic the game uses.
